Air conditioner is dead
Air conditioner indoor fan is running but not cooling
Air conditioner is icing up and/or dripping water
Air conditioner is blowing hot air
Always remember to service your units before summer when air conditioning contractors are quieter and can offer you a better service.
- Check Power at Isolator and Circuit Breaker on the DB Board
- Check the batteries in the remote control
Air conditioner indoor fan is running but not cooling
- Check the mode is on cooling and not on fan or heating
- Checking the setpoint temperature is low enough
- If the outdoor unit is running and there is no cooling after 10 minutes, turn the unit off and call a technician
Air conditioner is icing up and/or dripping water
- Temperature could be set too low or doors and windows not closed. Temp setting should be about 21 deg C. If unit is iced up, allow sufficient time to defrost before switching unit on and correcting above conditions. If still dripping call a technician.
Air conditioner is blowing hot air
- Check the mode is not on heating, if not call a technician.
